Young S.I.C. has toured as an international artist, spreading powerful, life-changing messages with an urban array of nostalgic sounds.

Bernard Shawn Henry II (born May 10), best known as Young S.I.C., is an American Christian Hip Hop recording artist, raised in Inglewood, California.

After experiencing a life of growing up around gang activity, selling drugs, and witnessing the loss of childhood friends to violence, he made a decision to turn his life around.

At the age of 14 his mother relocated them to Mobile, Alabama to assist with his grandparents. By age 15 he had lost both his grandparents within the same year. That experience was a major wake up call and gave life to the motto behind his music, which is learning to be an asset to your community. This motto that he lives by daily were the last words given from his grandfather.

At age 16 he found himself displaced from family after his mother experienced a bad domestic violence situation which left him without a place to stay. During this time he turned his life over to God and was taken in by a Christian family at his local church who helped support him in finishing high school.

In 2008 at age 21, Young S.I.C was selected by his Pastor and mentor to travel and perform for the first time in Liverpool, England at the Festival of Hope.

In connection with his performance there he was selected to participate & perform along with a Christian organization on a 10 City Tour which included New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, CA, Kansas City, Washington DC, Salt Lake City, Utah, Philadelphia, inner city parts of Atlanta Georgia, Tampa Florida and Auckland, New Zealand.

By 2009 he had performed at the Senior Bowl, opened up for Hip Hop Recording Artist Z-RO, performed at local schools, multiple Colleges, Universities, prisons, detention centers for youth, and appeared as a guest speaker at the Mobile Convention Center for the mayor of Mobile, AL and the state governor of Alabama.

In 2010 he was ordained at his local church as a minister and has continued.
